Thanks
to its life zones, there is wide floweriness; through
the species we found oak (Quercus sp), related with lauráceas
(Nectandra salicifolla, Persea shiedeana), meliáceas
yos (Sapium pittiere), lagartillo (Zantoxylum sp). Besides
there were found Piper Carpinteranun, Peperomia capinterana,
Itel carpinteral y Pleurothalis carpinterae, through others,
that links with the name of the area.
There are rabbits Sylvilagus sp), squirells (Sciurus sp),
racoons (Procyon lotor), yiguirro (Turdus grayi), parrots
(Brotogeris sp) pecho amarillo (Myiosettes siminis) and
others.

In
this protected area some rivers have their headwaters,
these are very important for the community, that gets
their water from these sources such as, for human consumption,
agriculture and industrial. |
